Here is the fact sheet about Gujarat that has never been talked about:

2. Gujarat ranks 5th in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

3. The state’s total debt was less than Rs. 10,000 crore when the Bjp first came to power in Gujarat in 1995. Gujarat’s actual debt has mounted from Rs. 45,301 crore in 2001-02 when Modi took over to Rs.1,38,978 crore on December 30, 2012, and the debt of Rs 185310 crore on Gujarat as per RBI in 2013-14.The debt would mount to Rs. 2,07,695 crore by 2015-16, as per the state government’s budget estimates. 4. Gujarat is at 8th position in agricultural growth. Gujarat has never achieved 10% growth in agriculture sector. As per Gujarat government's own statistics from year 2005-2006 to 2010-2011, growth in GSDP in Agriculture and Allied sector is 3.44% only-not double digit or 10%. 5. Food grain and oil seed production has negative growth of (-8.08%) and (-2.08%) as per socio economic review of Gujarat Government 2011-12.6. 28. A total of 52,260 students from the minority community should have got Central government-sponsored scholarship. 29. Around only 12% Muslims in the state have bank accounts in Gujarat, but their loan amount outstanding stands at only 2.6 percent. This proves they don’t get loans.

33. One rape takes place every three days
in Gujarat. Here, crime against women has increased by 39 percent. After every three days, a girl child is raped in the state. About 60% women of state are abused by their husbands and 35% daughters are sexually assaulted by their fathers. Forty out of every 100 people are below poverty line. Expenditure on health in the state has reduced from 4.25% to only 0.77%.

35. The post of deputy speaker in Gujarat Assembly has been lying vacant for a decade despite the fact that it is mandatory as per article 178 of Indian Constitution. On an average, the state Assembly runs for 30 32 days a year. No Lokayukta has been appointed since last 10 years.

36. So far, Gujarat has organized 3,716 employment festival. A total of 10 lacks educated youth in the state are unemployed and a total of 30 lakh people are unemployed.

37. The NSSO data shows that in Gujarat, growth in employment has dropped to almost zero in the past 12 years. A recent CAG review on accounts of the states is aneye-opener when it comes to Gujarat, the latter’s high claims notwithstanding.

38. The financial and land allotment irregularities in Gujarat amounts to Rs. 16,706.99 crore.
