To the people who criticize Gandhi and Bose

In the past few months it has become a fashion to criticize and abuse Mahatma Gandhi - The father of the nation. Some called him communal , some call him British agent and all kinds of other name. The people who have been criticizing Bapu for so long most of them were from the RSS which had close links with Hindu Mahasabha. Nathuram Godse the person who murdered Mahatma Gandhi was an RSS and Hindu Mahasabha member.

RSS before partition was a British pawn and never participated in the freedom movement . After the murder of Mahatma Gandhi , Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had banned the organisation. This organisation is well known for spreading hatred among the masses on the basis of religion.

However in the last few weeks we have seen attack from people like former supreme court judge Markendey Katju labeling Mahatma Gandhi as a British Agent he also tagged Netaji Subash Chandra Bose as Japanese Agent. Its so easy for him to sit in his AC room in Fermont , California and write whatever crap he wants do . But does he have any idea what this men had to go through in their lives , what sacrifices they had to make for the sake of India's freedom.

Mahatma Gandhi could have been a successful barrister could have lived a life of pomp and luxury. He chose to forsake all that and work selflessly first for the equal right of Indians in South Africa followed by the freedom of India when he came back to India. He is revered by people like Einstein, Rabindranath Tagore, Martin Luther King and many many others.

The people who call him British agent should know a person would became an agent of a country for money. However Bapu was a man who gave up money for the sake of the freedom of the country. He had no personal motives to work for the freedom of the country, just his love for the country and his fellow countrymen made him do that. People who look for cheap publicity by defaming Mahatma Gandhi should be ashamed of themselves.

Gandhiji was referred as the father of the nation for the first time by non other than Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose another great freedom fighter. The difference between the two was Gandhiji believed in using non violent means to achieve freedom while Netaji believed that some violence was needed for achieving freedom. Subhas Chandra Bose who could have been an excellent civil servant could have lived a happy life surrounded with money he was also the Mayor of Calcutta for some time. But for the sake of freedom of the country he gave up all that left the country and went to Germany to coax Hitler to fight for India's Independence.

When that didn't work he went to Japan and in Singapore formed the Indian National Army with the help of jawans(soldiers) who were made captive during the Second World War. Yes he did side with Japan but his aim was to free Indian from British rule. Its also possible that this flame of patriotism set in place by Bose actually resulted indirectly in Indian Naval Mutiny that ultimately became the biggest reason for British leaving Indian.

After the Naval Mutiny British were convinced of the fact that their days in India was numbered since one cannot rule a nation whose armed forces are against you.

Abusing Gandhi and Subhas is just like spitting at the sky . You actually spit back on your face.

Jinnah - The father of terrorism

The British ruled over India for 190 years and at the time of leaving India volunteered to divide India into two countries India and Pakistan. Back then Pakistan was divided peculiarly. A big part of Pakistan was in the western side of India called West Pakistan and another part on eastern side of India -East Pakistan. East Pakistan was essentially the state of Bengal that was divided on the basis of religion. In fact the entire division of India and Pakistan was given a pretext of religion. In 1971 the Eastern Part of Pakistan - East Pakistan ,after a bloody war, became free as a new nation called Bangladesh with military assistance from India.

The partition of India was totally unnecessary. It was caused due to the selfish wish of a man to become the supreme leader of a nation and the man was Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a British pawn who simply did what his masters told him to. The Royal Indian Naval Mutiny which spread across other parts of the armed forces convinced the British that their days in India were numbered,  you cannot rule a country whose armed forces are against you.

The non violent movement that was lead by Mahatma Gandhi and others for decades created a feeling of patriotism among Indians . Also the violent movement of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and many others followed by the Indian National Army formed by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose fired up the countrymen to get freedom from the clutches of British. This two different movements had actually triggered the Naval Mutiny and British decided to hand back power to the people of the nation.

However the cunning Jinnah demanded a separate state for Muslims, as he thought that he would be able to become president of the nation in such a situation. The British obliged instead of simply packing and leaving they started doing meetings with various leaders of Congress and Muslim League. To achieve his objective Jinnah poisoned the ears of Muslims( most of whom were illiterate and uneducated) and announced 16th August 1946 as Direct Action Day. Riots followed his announcement and thousands of people were killed . It was started by Muslim mobs followed by retaliatory attack by Hindu mobs. Thousands of people died in the riots .

The country was finally divided into India and Pakistan. However there was tremendous displacement of people across the border and at the same time there were riots that lead to loss of lives of around 500000 people or more and millions of rapes. People who migrated across the border lost all their money and property. This was just the beginning of the carnage. The so called nation of Pakistan never succeeded in becoming democratic nation. Within a year of Independence  Jinnah died  Pakistan became a military state where the army is autonomous and takes its own decisions.

Immediately after the partition an army of tribals was sent to annex J&K , the maharaja of J&K was in two minds whether to stay independent or go with India he finally decided to join India . The Indian forces then entered Kashmir and threw away the Paki forces but a part of Kashmir remained in Pakistan. This was not the first war between India and Pakistan it was followed by wars of 1965 and 1971 Pakistan lost both the wars. Pakistan was better equipped than India in 1965 in spite of that Pakistan lost the war. In 1971 Indo- Pak war was over within 16 days it was a humiliating defeat for Pakistan in East Pakistan around 98,000 Pakistani army personnel were captured by Indian forces. A new nation of Bangladesh was created. However in these wars lives of thousands of soldiers were lost by each nation. When the Bangladeshis were demanding a separate nation, 3 million people in that country were butchered by the Pakistani forces irrespective of their religion and 200000 women were raped.

Since direct confrontation with India was not working Pakistan took refuge in religious terrorism. It took services of some people who misinterpreted religion to spread violence. In this way they were able to spread militancy across Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands till date have been killed in this bloody militancy and this act has lead to growth of global islamic terror. Pakistan was the nation that gave a safe haven to dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden. The man who is responsible for 9/11 attacks in New York World Trade Centre.

The evil ideology spread across the world and has had destroyed the nation of Afghanistan and today we have dangerous terrorist group called ISIS that dreams to islamise the world through terror. The nation of Pakistan itself has become a great victim of terror , the poison that they created to destroy India is destroying them.

The creation of Pakistan is no doubt the birth of terrorism unknowingly aided by the then British government and fathered by Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah ended up being the father of modern day terrorism.

Indian population

The population of India grew exponentially since independence. The major reason for the growth is due to the fact that the death rate went down owing to better availability of medical services and nutrition but the birth rate didn't go down proportionately. The average life expectancy increased from 32 to 69 today. At the time of independence after partition India's population was 300 million. But today the population of the nation has jumped up to 1.22 billion plus. In the last decade alone India added a new Brazil to its population. Every year India has been adding number of people equivalent to the population of Australia.

This population explosion in India has had tremendous effect on the development of the nation. The truth is development of the nation has stalled because of this exponential population growth over the past 6 decades. There are more poor people in India than there were at the time of Independence because of the high population growth. The hospitals , schools , collages and other services became inadequate after a certain period of time because of this high growth in population since they won't be able to accommodate increased number of people.

Normally a home has one or at the most two breadwinners but when the number of mouths that have to be fed increases there is hardly any money left for other activities . Neither good education nor good medical services can be provided. India was one of the first countries in the world to have population control programme . However this programme was unsuccessful owing to lack of political will and ignorance of the masses. It is because of ignorance that Indians have suffered for the past 67 years since independence.

The rate of population grown is now coming down however it has not come down enough. The city of Kolkata has actually seen a fall in the numbers of children between 0-6 years . However most of India that lives in villages still are not looking into birth control and family planning many of them are simply ignorant about it.

The fallout of this population growth has been very bad on agriculture. The population density of India has now become high , its now higher than Japan. The amount of arable land per farmer has reduced owing to population growth.

The solution of this problem lies in judicious use of technology to increase farm productivity and spreading awareness among the masses regarding population control. The population growth has one positive side though India has the highest numbers of youngsters in the world they must be considered an asset and proper training and education must be provided to them so that they are able to work towards the development of the nation.
