As expected, the BJP led government in the centre has triggered communalism in the country with incidences of communal violence against minorities. Just a few days ago the father of an Indian air force soldier was killed, because a temple priest spread a rumour that there was beef in his refrigerator.
Although the meat, that was there in his refrigerator was mutton and not beef, but a crowd of 200 communal and crazy fools murdered the man. Even if the meat was beef, one just cannot justify the murder of an innocent man.
Recently at different places in Gujarat, people from other religions except Hindus are barred from this year's Navratri Garba celebrations. Having lived in Gujarat myself I have seen people from other religions taking part in Navratri. So it is clear that Gujarat is way more communal than it used to be.
Anti Muslim and anti Christian statements are made by elected BJP MPs like Sadhvi Pragya, Shakshi Maharaj every other day. It is their ploy to divide the nation on communal lines to create vote banks.
One reason why communalism is encouraged more and more by the ruling government is to divert people's attention away from the failures. The BJP government has failed miserably to bring in any growth, contain price rise even on diplomatic level they have been failures. Corruption is rampant and it has only gone up. The prices of pulses and onion are sky high and the ruling party is hands in gloves with the traders who are hoarding and profiteering from this products.
This is exactly the reason why in the last few weeks over 41 writers have returned their Sahitya Academy Awards and the numbers are going up. The Indian media is a paid media that shows paid news and is bought by the people who are making great amount of money by dubious means because of the current ruling government.
The BJP government promised acche din (Happy Days), but in reality it is acche din for the crony corporates and corrupt netas. The 31% idiots who voted for Modi, have been given a middle finger by the greatest beneficiary of Gujarat riots. Most spiritual gurus whom you see on Television these days are actually frauds who are interested in making money by fooling people into believing that they can bring them good luck or are simply infuriating people against other religions.
Cows have become the best source of creating communal divide. Some idiotic books written after Buddhist times proclaim cow to be a mother and ban slaughter of cows. The sad reality is many Indians who happen to be born in Hindu families and follow Hinduism, believe in this. The leaders of the ruling government one hand create communal hatred on the issue of cow slaughter. On the other hand some of them own butcheries directly or indirectly, where bulls and cows are slaughtered and now India is the largest beef exporter in the world. So they make money by slaughtering cows at the same time they get votes by giving lectures about cow protection.
As long as people keep getting fooled by them, this guys would simply loot them. One hopes that like Delhi people in other parts of India become more aware and vote for honest alternative.
